Emergency & Urgent Care
At Urgent Pet Care, a veterinarian and personnel is on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care needs your pet has.We offer care for lacerations, limping, fractures, gastro-intestinal issues, coughing, and many other moderate injuries or illnesses.  If you ever feel that your pet needs urgent or emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.

While our veterinary hospital policy is to assist pets on a first come, first serve basis, we do use a triage system for prioritizing urgent medical attention. No appointment is ever necessary for service at our vet clinic. We're sorry, but we do not provide vaccinations or perform routine veterinary health care. If your pet needs an annual check-up or routine vaccination, we invite you to visit one of the many Omaha veterinary practices. Urgent Pet Care is strictly an after hours veterinary hospital for urgent care.  

Every patient is examined by a veterinarian. After the examination, the doctor will discuss treatment options, recommended testing and cost of care. You will be presented with an estimated cost for the treatment plan the doctor is recommending. If your pet is hospitalized, they will be housed in comfortable cages or runs and are cared for by our highly trained staff. If your pet stays with us overnight we ask that you come pick up your pet at 7:00Am but it is a good idea to get here by 6:30 to allow time to meet with the attending veterinarian and review discharge instructions. Final payment is due upon release.If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Payments
Urgent Pet Care accepts payment via Cash, Check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.

While we are unable to extend credit we have several options for our clients to obtain credit.
 
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
